While honey bees are great pollinators, hornets, wasps and yellow jackets do not visit flowing plants nearly as much. When they do, they do not achieve as much pollination due to the fact that they are not fuzzy and are not able to pick up nearly as much as honey bees do. Honey bees are known to be responsible for nearly 80% of the food we consume and with that, we have strict guidelines to help protect honey bees with all of our outdoor treatments. Although the honey bee very seldom has interaction with humans, the hornet, wasp, and yellow jacket can become a pest when they build nests on, in and around structures creating havoc and fear of being stung. With our BC technicians specifically trained in stinging pest control, we can exterminate the problem and remove it as well!
